A recent change of guard has taken place within Fightclub’s management team. Stefan Nuijten is handing over his role as Managing Director to the duo of Eric Beekman (EnoRm, Forza Refurbished) and Hugo van Mol (EnoRm, Efteling). Together, they will take responsibility for both Fightclub and EnoRm. Beekman and Van Mol, both partners, have been involved with the company for many years.
Beekman: "In recent years, Fightclub has experienced impressive growth: the integration of the former The Communication Company with Fightclub, joining the marketing group Customer Collective, integrating our full service agency EnoRm and ultimately holding the number one position in the Fonk150 for six years in a row. Stefan has played a key role in getting the company to where it is today and we are, of course, grateful to him for that."
Nuijten: "Since founding Fightclub, growth has always been my main focus. In the past two years, I have been sitting in a slightly different ‘entrepreneur’s seat’ and I have realised that in our current situation there are others within Fightclub who enjoy that role more and might even be better at it. In recent weeks, I have discussed this openly with the team and came to the conclusion that it was time to hand over the baton. Now I can fully focus again on what I enjoy most: entrepreneurship. Same fight, different ring. I wish Hugo and Eric the very best of success. They know the agency inside out and are highly committed to taking what we have built together into the next phase. I have had an incredible time and will always look back on this unique club with great fondness."
Alongside founder Cees Faes, the leadership of the agency remains otherwise unchanged. In addition, Fightclub recently welcomed award-winning Creative Director Richard Hol. Van Mol: "With the arrival of Richard, who has previously worked at JWT Dubai/London, Grey Amsterdam, Nomads Dubai/Singapore and Wavemaker Amsterdam, we are bringing in a heavyweight creative talent with broad national and international experience."
