Facebook is not typically the first channel that comes to mind for campaigns targeting the business market. However, past results have shown that specific ads combined with precise targeting can generate large volumes of high-quality leads — especially for campaigns with a local approach (multiple locations), as in the case of Flexizone. For this reason, a campaign strategy was chosen with a strong focus on Facebook advertising.
Ultimately, Facebook Lead Ads were deployed — an ad format where users can submit their details through a prefilled form immediately after clicking.
In general, this format is much more accessible for users compared to clicking through to a website first. While this often results in high volumes but lower lead quality, in this case that challenge was mitigated through smart targeting.
By zooming in on specific audience characteristics, a target audience was built based on tailored interest inclusions and exclusions, aimed at (creative) entrepreneurs. Naturally, there will always be some level of targeting waste, but by ensuring the ad assets aligned seamlessly with the audience, the initial results were impressive:
