On its 65th iconic years of existence, Luikse Siroop experienced a drop in sales: a younger audience seemed hard to be reached. An additional question raised: how to increase the consumption moments?!
The insight
Luikse Siroop is merely known to be a spread for your bread. Our strategy? How to showcase that Luikse Siroop is not only made to be spread on bread. Use your weakness as a strength!
The core creative idea
We came up with the campaign line:
Voor op de boterham
But also on your saté or crème brulée. You can dip it, flip it, sip it, coat it, squeeze it, and the best of all: you can use it, in every way you’d like. In short, we made Luikse Siroop multifunctional and indispensable in everyone’s household.
To catch attention, we made a catchy song and translated this in to all kinds of social media assets, resonating with younger audiences on TikTok, Meta and YouTube.
